根据我院关于留学生稳定工作的相关规定，为加强外国留学生安全管理工作，确保留学生在校期间的人身财产安全，根据我院留学生住宿实际情况，特制定本规定。

1、留学生应遵守中国的法律、法规及学校的规章制度和纪律。校内严禁传教及宗教聚会活动。

2、遵守学校的作息时间，不得在公寓内大声喧哗，不得留宿校外人员，每晚23:00点必须回到宿舍就寝，严禁夜不归宿。留学生必须按照指定房间居住，未经许可不得私自调换房间。未经他人允许不得擅自进入他人房间。

3、爱护留学生公寓的设施或物品，不得私自卸下或改装用水、用电设备，如有损失或遗失，应按价赔偿。宿舍内的家具物品不准随意搬出或调换。

4、宿舍内严禁饲养宠物。

5、保持公寓环境卫生，保持个人物品的洁净和整齐存放。

6、公寓内的日常卫生由外国留学生自己完成，应保持清洁，及时开门、开窗通风。

7、宿舍内禁止抽烟、喝酒。节约用水、用电，如发现水、电出现故障，要及时报告公寓值班人员。离开房间时要关闭电灯、电视、电脑等电器。不准私自接电源或检修电器开关，以防止触电事故。注意防火，酿成火灾者，须赔偿一切损失；严重者，将由司法机关追究其刑事责任。

8、宿舍内禁止带入和存放易燃、易爆、有毒和有害物品。

9、妥善保管好个人的财物。外出时要关锁好门窗。外出时保管好随身物品、银行卡、证件等，谨防丢失。若发生私人财物丢失或被窃，应立即报告学院老师，并向当地公安机关报告物品失窃经过，以便采取措施迅速查找。

10、对无视学校纪律，有破坏公共财产、酗酒、斗殴以及损坏他人财物等不良行为者，根据情节给予处罚并令其赔偿经济损失，对情节严重者，按我国有关治安条例处理；对违反学校纪律干扰他人学习生活而屡教不改者、对严重违反公寓管理规定并造成恶劣影响者，将予以退学处理。

The Administrative Provisions for Overseas Students’ Dormitory

These regulations are constituted to strengthen the safe management of the overseas students and according to the living reality for overseas students at School of International Education (SIE), Ningxia University (NXU).

1. All of the overseas students must abide by the laws and regulations of People’s Republic of China, and also include the rules and disciplines of Ningxia University. Missionary activities and religious parties are strictly prohibited both inside and outside of the campus.

2. Please comply with the university’s study and rest schedule. Keep quiet in the apartment building. The apartments are only provided for foreign students of SIE, NXU. Anyone who’s not our student is not allowed to stay overnight. It is strictly required that overseas students return the apartment before 23:00 every night. It is forbid to stay out of school overnight and change room casually. No one can enter other’s room without permission.

3. Please take good care of everything in your room and it is forbidden to change or reset the water or electrical equipments. If you lose or break anything that belongs to your room, you will have to pay for its original value. And all the things in your room will not be permitted to change with other rooms’.

4. Feeding pets are strictly prohibited in dormitory.

5. Please keep the sanitation of the apartment and preserve your personal things in the right place. Please maintain the public sanitation consciously.

6. The work of sanitation within the room is usually done by overseas students themselves and please keep the room clean and tidy and air the room regularly.

7. Smoking and drinking in dormitory are strictly prohibited. Please save on water and electricity. If anyone finds that there is something wrong with the water or electricity, please tell the operator on duty. Please make sure that all the electrical equipments have been shut down when you out of your room. It is not allowed to do the power connection or examine and repair the power switch by oneself, just in case of the electric shock accident. Fire prevention must be paid much attention. The person who caught a fire accident would have to pay for all the damages. If a serious damage happens, the criminal responsibility will be ascertained through judicial authorities.

8. To bring and keep inflammable, explosive, poisonous and harmful things in the apartment will absolutely not be allowed.

9. Take well care of your personal properties. Make sure to lock the door and shut the windows before going out. Take care of your personal cards, bank cards, cash, passport and other properties on street in case loss or been stolen. If you lose anything, you should dial 110 at once to report the whole case of the incident to the local police and try to make your loss at a minimum.

10. Any student, who pays no attention to the school disciplines, and one’s behaviors like destroying public properties or indulging in excessive drinking, fighting with others and damaging other’s properties, will be disposed according to the seriousness of the case. If the case is very serious, the student will be dealt with according to pertinent Public Order Regulations of China. The one, who violates the school disciplines, disturbs other students’ study life and refuses to correct one’s errors despite repeated education, and the one who seriously violates one of these administrative provisions and causes baneful influences will be claimed to leave school.
